FAQs

When must a notice of an annual general meeting (“AGM”) of shareholders be delivered?

In order to have a validly constituted meeting, the By-laws of the corporation must be followed. The directors must ensure that shareholders are given notice of the AGM in accordance with the corporation’s By-laws, which will specify the number of days before the AGM that the notice of the AGM must be delivered to the shareholders, using the permitted method of delivering the notice.
